Schematic graphite on paper work drawn in a single session whose main element is a line of black poplars. The painter seems to be more interested in the general idea of the scene than in the details. The black poplars are in a horizontal row, presented with schematic and loose brushstrokes and practically at the same distance from the spectator; their shadows are on the left. This scene is not as deep as others.

The signature is on the lower right corner and says “A. López Torres”.
