It is the oldest drawing featured in the López Torres Museum. The scene represents a group of fishermen: two adults and a child on a boat, another child coming out the water carrying a basket, and a girl waiting on the shore to hold the child who one of the fishermen is giving to her.
This early work is a copy of a decorative sheet of paper characterised by its clean lines, proportioned figures, and the special interest on details such as the wicker of the basket or the fishing net.
The drawing is signed on the upper right side as “A. López”.
