Small horizontal painting where the artist studies the colour scheme of a backlighting sunset. On the lower part, green and reddish tones predominate while some houses in a range of violet tones are represented by using a broad brushstroke in the middle of the scene. In the green fields the shapes of some farmers are interpreted with schematic masses of colour. The sky is bright with some clouds.

The painting is not signed.
