The horizontal bands of colour give a sense of space and aerial perspective to this small oil painting representing a view from Cerro Moreno. The colour range is gradually colder to the horizon creating a far picture in the spectator’s mind. The volumes of the elements such as trees are created by using short and simple brushstrokes the artist matches perfectly.
