Vertical work where the artist describes an autumn landscape. There are barely any elements in this composition, just some olive trees and houses in the background, because the most important aspect is the general colour perception of the painting. In the foreground, a green mass describes some diagonal bands leading the spectator to another central band in earth tones. In the background, the ochre landscape becomes violet and bluish grey in the distance.

The painter captures again the essence, the time and the silence of the picture naturally.

The signature is on the lower left corner and says “Landscape in autumn, 1976. A. López Torres”.
