Horizontal painting where the artist studies the different elements of the composition direct and schematically. In the background and with violet tones, the buildings of Madrid are depicted, while in the foreground there are some trees in warm and green tones.

This work was an exercise for a public examination where a more loose and spontaneous brushstroke than in other works can be observed.

It is signed on the lower right part as “A. López Torres. Madrid, 1960”.
