Female face study which includes the common features of his training stage works: neutral background, interest in colour masses and blurred outlines. In this painting the model is sadly staring at the spectator over her left shoulder.
The signature is on the lower right corner and says “A. López Torres, 1929”.
Donated by his sisters Eulalia and Carmen López Torres in a public deed, 28.4.93.
