Oil female portrait where the model is Mrs. María Cabrero, daughter in law of Francisco Martínez Ramírez, “el Obrero”, a very good friend of the artist. As the other portraits of this period, the figure is on a neutral background, but this time the artist plays with colours and combines the red colour of the comb with the turquoise blue colour of the cloth covering her shoulders. It is known that she appeared wearing the comb because it was her desire but the artist disagreed.

The painting is signed on the lower right side as “A López Torres, 1931”.
