Vertical still life where the artist displays some elements on a dark background. From left to right, there are a glass of wine on a crystal plate, a white vase with flowers on a silver tray and a porcelain sugar bowl. All of these objects are on a red cloth the artist has painted in detail: embroideries, fringes, folds and shines.

This work was painted during his stay in Madrid studying in the School of Fine Arts of San Fernando. It is known the painter gave it to his landlady, but after she passed away, her heirs returned it to the artist.

It is signed as “A. López Torres” on the lower right side.

Donated by Antonio López Torres in a public deed, 14.10.83.
