Training painting from his studying period in the School of Arts and Crafts in Ciudad Real. It represents a still life influenced by the baroque style where the elements are on a wooden table on a dark background. The artist focuses on representing the fruit volumes and the illuminated objects as well as the light reflections the objects have on each other.

This work was painted in the hostel Pensión Cele in Ciudad Real, where the artist lived during that academic course.

It is signed on the lower left corner as “A. López Torres -1925-”.
